Bring the presence of Christ to all people and help each person reflect the character of Christ
The Northeast Provisional Annual Conference is committed to keeping Jesus Christ at the center of it all as we recognize and deploy the gifts and contributions of each part of the church in making disciples and sharing the Gospel. Our exciting new movement is theologically conservative and founded in orthodox Wesleyan doctrine.
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Eph 4:11-13
Sharing Scriptural Holiness – the Perfect Love of God –with the World Around Us
We embrace our Methodist heritage to understand that the world is our mission field. We make and mature disciples who make disciples. Our goal is to equip and empower Christians to live ON MISSION – and to share the good news of the Gospel where they live, work, study, and play. We’re committed to helping churches model the way by making ten key shifts:
- From "Come and Do" to "Go and Be"
- From Infancy to Maturity
- From Making Church Members to Making Disciples
- From Dysfunctional Politeness to Kingdom Kindness and Honesty
- From Carnal to Spiritual
- From Moralism to Holiness
- From Information to Transformation
- From Clergy Centered to Missionaries Sent
- From Addition to Multiplication
- From Institutional Maintenance to Church Planting
